Recently I have experienced my own chronic pain. The past year has been a difficult journey dealing with the break up of a 40 year relationship. For the first time I experienced severe chronic pain. I am slowly healing from knee pain which started with overenthusiastic tennis activities and persisted because of my difficulties releasing myself emotionally from the person I love. I truly appreciate how hard it is to live with chronic pain and continue to find ways to help myself and others improve pain.
