Pain Basics

Pain that is not responding to usual treatment needs more work to manage than ordinary pain. If you require opioids or other pain meds on a regular basis, then you have what I call intractable pain. Or Overwhelming pain. Here is a video that can help along with Step 3 and Step 4 explanations of pain.

Part of managing pain is lowering the alarm in the area of the brain that makes pain worse, the Limbic system. Try the 2-step program.
