Leg Muscle Weakness

I listened to Dr. William Li’s interesting video on ageing and specifically how the muscles of our legs get affected. He discussed the types of food that improve muscle strength, of course along with stretching and exercise. These are the foods he ranked in order of importance:

  1. Apple peels – please wash first and use organic apples
  2. Pomegranates – combined with a bit of olive oil and beets
  3. Eggs
  4. Lentils, red being the easiest as no need to soak
  5. Sardines with the bones – preferably wild caught. 200g per week
  6. Beets combined with vit C, like some red pepper.
